PMT Full Form:- The pre-Medical Test (PMT) is an annual national examination conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS in various public and private institutions. In India, NEET replaced AIPMT. A regular schedule is followed while preparing for the entrance exam. Eligibility Criteria

  1. People of all nationalities can apply to do the PMT. These include Indian citizens, non-resident Indians, overseas Indian citizens, persons of Indian origin and foreign nationals.
  2. To be eligible candidates must furnish an Aadhaar card and number.

  1. In 2012, the Medical and Dental Council of India conducted the NEET exam for UG and PG admission in government and private colleges. However, there were many reasons for postponing this exam.
  2. In 2013, the Supreme Court ruled in favour of 115 petitions and ruled that no private college should conduct its UG and PG entrance exams on the basis of NEET.
