NRC and CAb Full-Form Is CAB – Citizenship Amendment Bill, NRC -National Register of Citizens. the Cabinet cleared the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill (CAB). It is expected to be tabled in Parliament this week. The bill’s essence is simple. It seeks to amend the Citizenship Act of 1955. They will also be eligible for Indian citizenship on an expedited basis, after six years of residency.

NRC Full form
The NRC is the National Registry of Citizens, a process aimed at eliminating illegal immigrants from India. The NRC process was recently completed in Assam. However, Union Interior Minister Amit Shah announced in Parliament in November that the NRC would be implement throughout India.
CAB Full form
First of all, you should know that the full form of CAB is Citizen Amendment Bill which is now becoming a CAA and the full form of CAA is given in the next paragraph.
The CAB is the 2019 Citizenship Amendment Bill, which proposes granting Indian citizenship to religious minorities who have fled from the three neighboring countries of India: Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, for fear of persecution or religious persecution.

Are NRC and CAA the same?
CAA is applicable for illegal migrants residing in India and does not apply to any Indian citizen at all. NRC consists of a record of citizens of India only excluding others.
